This Privacy Policy explains how Adam ("I", "me", or "my"), operating as IELTS Band Jump Protocol at bandjumpprotocol.com, handles personal information when you visit this website, join the waitlist or contact me.

This version covers the public website and waitlist. Additional course and BandJump app privacy information will be provided before enrolled-learner data is collected.

IELTS Band Jump Protocol is operated by Adam, a UK national. This is not a registered company. If you have any questions about your data or this policy, please contact me directly:

2. What personal data I collect

Waitlist sign-ups. The waitlist form asks for your email address only. It does not ask for your name, phone number or payment details.

Course enrolment. The exact enrolment information, course platforms and payment arrangements will be disclosed before that information is collected and before any payment is taken.

Communications. If you email me directly, I retain that correspondence in order to respond to you.

Website usage. This website does not intentionally use analytics software, tracking cookies or advertising pixels. Hosting and linked third-party services may process technical request data under their own policies.

3. How I use your personal data

I use the information I collect for the following purposes:

• To send the waitlist emails you expressly request about cohort openings, enrolment, pricing and IELTS learning resources
• To deliver the course and communicate with enrolled students
• To respond to enquiries you send me directly
• To comply with any legal obligations that may apply

I will not use your data for any purpose that is incompatible with the purposes listed above without first obtaining your consent.

4. Legal basis for processing (UK GDPR)

Where UK data protection law applies, I process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Consent — for the waitlist emails described above. You give this consent by actively selecting the unticked consent box before submitting the form, and you may withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing.
• Contractual necessity — for processing data required to deliver the course to enrolled students.
• Legitimate interests — for responding to direct enquiries and maintaining basic business records.

5. Third-party services

Kit (formerly ConvertKit). I use Kit to manage the waitlist and send emails. When you join the waitlist, your email address is processed by Kit. You can review Kit's privacy policy at kit.com/privacy.

Google Fonts. The website requests font files from Google when a page loads. Google may process technical request data under its own privacy policy.

Zalo and Messenger. This website links to Zalo and Messenger as optional third-party communication channels. If you contact me through either service, the provider will process information under its own terms and privacy policy. If an enrolled learner joins a course group, other group members may be able to see the learner's profile information and messages shared in that group.

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for their own marketing purposes.

6. International data transfers

Kit may process waitlist information outside Vietnam, including in the United States.

7. Data retention

I keep waitlist information only while it is needed to send the emails described above or meet applicable record-keeping duties. You can unsubscribe at any time. Final course and BandJump app retention and deletion information will be provided before enrolled-learner data is collected.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

• Right of access — to request a copy of the personal data I hold about you
• Right to rectification — to ask me to correct inaccurate data
• Right to erasure — to ask me to delete your data ("the right to be forgotten")
• Right to restrict processing — to ask me to limit how I use your data
• Right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Right to object — to object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Right to withdraw consent — to unsubscribe from emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email I send

This website does not intentionally set tracking or advertising cookies. Third-party pages you choose to open may use cookies under their own policies.

10. Children's privacy

The first commercial cohort is restricted to learners aged 18 and over as a current product decision. This is not a statement that Vietnamese law requires Band Jump Protocol to be restricted to people aged 18 or over. If you believe someone under 18 has joined the waitlist, please contact me.

11. Security

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. However, no method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be shown by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

13. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with my response and you are based in the UK or EU, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.
